If you know me, you know that Sam Chex 708 daughters are my thing. Texana Sunrise might be the second prettiest Sam Daughter in the breed, behind only Ritchie Land & Livestock's own Sam's Opus. Texana Sunrise not only has the distinction of being a Sam daughter, but also Todd Taylor breeding. Her sire is the 2017 to 2020 TLBAA Horn Showcase tip to tip Champion, and 2018 Bull Alley Champion, Sam Chex 708. The son of Joaquin by BL Sadie. Sam leaves his daughters, with low rolling horn set, and smooth muscular features. The only thing better than her top side is the bottom side, provided by Taylor Cattle Co. Texana Lu is the dam of Texana Sunrise. She is the daughter of Tejas Star, a top tier Todd Taylor bull that is in the pedigrees of some of the biggest names in the breed. He brings in the large body of Emperor, and the large horn shape of Delta Van Horne. This makes for an animal with incredible conformation, color and horn. Very excited to see where this colorful heifer takes the herd in the future.
